The first weekend of April marked the race of Extreme E in Saudi Arabia. This all-electric off-road racing series is designed to bring attention to climate change, the use of sustainable, all-electric vehicles, and provide audiences with a spectacular event.
For all races this year, we provide all data-driven graphics, motion graphics and we are building a complete new world, virtual as well as in AR, based on the world’s most remote locations and harshest environments in Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Greenland, Brazil and Patagonia and their GPS data. Over the course of a year our team worked remotely with over fifteen talents and professionals at full speed to create this entirely new concept together.
Commissioned by Aurora Media Worldwide, and in collaboration with North One, our sister company NEP UK delivered an innovative end-to-end solution by using a special IP Flypack (part of NEP’s Centralized Production Platform).
Extreme E is a truly world-class event that is highlighting one of the most important challenges facing our planet and bringing it to a new audience in an innovative way. A total of 5 races is planned for 2021 and we’re proud to be part of it!
