Club xR at Amsterdam Dance Event

Whereas Amsterdam and its clubs would have turned yellow during the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), this edition was fully digital.
A part of the line-up was set in our extraordinary virtual club, Club xR. Koolwaters has been hosting the stage for two days and several DJ’s like SWACQ, Richard Durand & DJ’s from Korsakov music have played their records during ADE Online.
By combining the live performances of artists with Augmented Reality elements, visual effects on LED screens, live lighting effects and interactive live audience, Club xR transforms a studio into a real mainstage and creates a unique 3D visual experience.
The audience is gathered in front of the stage in a livestream as live video miniatures. This is presented to the lecturer on a large screen in the studio. The College Club Online has a variety of interactive tools integrated that results in more engagement with the participants.
“Very cool. it is like we are in some kind of futuristic studio in which all questions come flying in. You see us, but are also seen by us.” according to the lecturer.
